Clint and Charity have been married for 13 years and have two sons. Clint practiced and taught martial arts for over 20 years, while holding a career in the legal field. When the law firm he was working for closed down, he decided to leave the legal field and pursue his passion in fitness full time, and Van Dyke Fitness was born. Charity possess a background in Psychology and fitness, which complements the physical and nutritional expertise of Clint. Together, they bring knowledge and experience in helping people reach their goals, not just short term, but to maintain for a lifetime. What they enjoy most is including their boys in their daily fitness lifestyle.
Clint is a current IFBB Professional competitor in the Men’s Physique Division. He earned his Pro status in September 2015 at the North American Championships in Pittsburgh. Prior to professional bodybuilding, Clint practiced and taught martial arts for over 20 years and earned his black belts in both Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan from Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong of the Plum Blossom International Federation. Clint is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist, as well as a Certified TRX Suspension Training. He is a Professional Fitness Trainer at Bay Clubs San Francisco, and teaches self-defense and nutrition seminars.
Charity is a Nationally Qualified NPC Bikini Competitor. She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutritionist, and Certified TRX Suspension Trainer. She has been competing since 2014, and took 1st Place in Masters Bikini, 45+, in Spectrum Fitness Productions, Sacramento Championships (November 2018). She has taken the top 10 spots in Masters Nationals and North American Championships, competing among the best of the best in the US and North America. Prior to competing in bodybuilding, Charity practiced and competed in martial arts and running marathon races.
